A message from Matthew LaVelle:
If your family is anything like mine Spring Cleaning has taken on a whole new meaning this year!
As our company and society move forward, I want to thank you all for your support during this time. If you would like to buy some wine you can do so in the following ways:
To go orders can be filled at our winery in Elmira from 12-5p on Saturdays and Sundays. With the temporary closure of Sweetwaters Restaurant and therefore our in town location Gene and Lisa Bennett have reached out to help us. To go orders can be filled at their downtown 5th Street Market District location at 199 E. 5th Avenue near The Steelhead and across from the David Minor Theatre on Fridays and Saturdays from 4-8p and Sundays from 12-4p.
Curbside pickup available with 24 hour advance notice. Just email email@example.com or call 541-935-9406 to set this up. You may get myself or another LaVelle family member. Just pull up and we will bring it out to your car.
Standard Ground Delivery will be complimentary for six bottles or more. We can ship via Fedex or UPS.
Wine Club Shipments
All future Wine Club Shipments will be paused until further notice. The last thing we want to do is charge your credit card for wine if you're not ready yet. Releases from past Wine Club Shipments that haven't been picked up yet can be during our current modified business hours and in the ways listed above.
Wine Club Discount Weekend
Fawn has been working hard to get the word out to expand this sale over the next three weekends to give everyone a longer time frame to take advantage of our deepest discounts. Orders for this sale can be made anytime between now and April 5th.
We will be canceling all of our upcoming social gatherings at this time. The Cherry Blossom Festival status will be communicated on our Facebook Event page as well as on our website and through email as time passes.
Keeping it Clean
My daughter Maggie has taken time to come out and clean our facility in Elmira and I am very grateful for that. We will continue regular deep cleanings before and after all shifts at both locations.
Jose and Salvador continue to ready the vines for awakening next month. I will continue to take care of our bulk wines and get ready to drive the tractor for the start of our 26th vintage as LaVelle Vineyards. Fawn, Jeff, Feather, and I continue to find ways to make our products available to you at the lowest possible prices. If you have any questions or comments please reach out to us right away.
Executive Order 20-07
As most of you have heard by now Governor Brown's Executive order prohibits us from pouring tastes or glasses of wine. We will only be allowed to sell bottles to go until further notice. Fawn will be updating everyone as the government decides what we should do next.
